The Edinburgh’s Disgrace Sweatshirt provides a warm and comfortable layer for the exploration of follies and sites of historical or contemporary interest. Screen-printed onto a reliable Fruit of the Loom grey sweatshirt base, it’s available in three sizes.
Known locally as ‘Edinburgh’s Disgrace’, the National Monument on Calton Hill was left half-finished when the money ran out. Today it stands as a familiar classical silhouette, forever under construction yet somehow complete, both a symbol of home for many and the stage scenery for countless selfies. To celebrate a phrase fondly used by Edinburgh locals, Collective Matter has worked with artist Mick Peter to create a range of products in praise of folly.
Collective Matter limited edition products are inspired by the art, extraordinary buildings, people and heritage that surround us at Collective.
